How do materials stay together to complete a function? How do properties like friction, tension or work interact to create a machine? This quarter students will explore a variety of engineering activities to explore properties of physics and mechanics in materials.

Science Explorers is an after-school science program for 4th and 5th graders at Sanislo Elementary School. The program is developed and taught by graduate student volunteers from the University of Washington.
