I think students had fun with this lesson. It was very open-ended so it might not work well with larger groups (today we had groups of three).

I think week 2 went great. The kids seemed pretty involved with inspecting the compost and searching for cacoons and worms. Gonig outside was great, and they were happy to make their own candy compost.

I worked with a group of 6 girls for week 2. They gave their own hypothesis on which material the worms preferred to decomposed. Most of them guessed right, however, it was too soon for anything to be completely decomposed.
